Essential oils are not only beneficial for physical healing, but are emotionally, spiritually, and mentally healing, as well. Aromatherapy, particularly in the use of essential oil blends can be extremely useful in promoting positive emotional states of wellbeing and can assist in dealing with issues such as grief, anger, or frustration. Emotional issues can be effectively treated with diffusion, but other methods such as a gentle massage or warm bath may also be beneficial.

Scientific research has revealed that there are certain chemical constituents in essential oils that make some more stimulating and others more soothing having a calming effect on the nervous system. Recent studies by Pierre Franchomme and Daniel Penoel have found essential oils possess positive and negative charges, which are ascribed to the main chemical groups. For instance, Phenylpropanes, which are commonly known to be warming and particularly powerful stimulants, have been attributed with a positive charge, while Aldehydes that are considered cooling with calming sedative effects on the central nervous system (including both the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems) possess a negative charge. Simply put, these chemicals affect receptors in the body by stimulating or soothing.

Carrier Oils are used as a Massage Oil Lubricant. Distinct from essential oils, carrier oils do not contain aromatic scents (or only a very faint scent) and evaporate due to its large molecular structure. For this reason, carrier oils act as a vehicle for essential oils when applying to the skin in massages. However, they do offer their own healing properties which essential oils do not possess.

A.) Coconut Oil has an unbelievable balance of natural saturated fatty acids with antibacterial and antiviral properties not found in other oils. Coconut oil is perfect as a skin conditioner for nearly all skin types.

B.) Castor Oil is a thick, radiant oil often used in a naturopathic practice. This clear, light coloured, fragrant oil is frequently used as a purgative agent. It is used in massage blends due to its gentle nature and rarely causes allergic reactions.

C.) Mahua Oil is the chemical-free product that works as an excellent skincare product as it provides glowing and radiant skin. Also, it gets rid of any kind of acne or blemishes on the skin making it absolutely clear and soft on the touch. Benefits include relieving joint pain, curing wrinkles and pimples.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Shake the bottle well to disperse the oils thoroughly. A full body massage takes about one to two ounces of Massage Blend Oil.
